Naresh Sharma quits as president MC Kathua

KATHUA, Aug 12: Naresh Kumar Sharma, president Municipal Council Kathua today submitted his resignation from the post on moral grounds.
He has submitted his resignation letter to vice president, MC Kathua in which he stated that he has tendered his resignation from the post of president on moral grounds.
He further said “These four years in which he served as president of Kathua MC were rally challenging with ups and downs, but my motive was to serve the people with honesty and make Kathua a better place to live in.”
It may be recalled that BJP Disciplinary Committee led by party chief spokesperson, Sunil Sethi as its chairman has served a show cause notice to Naresh Sharma yesterday for his anti party activities and derogatory remarks asking him to explain his position within 24 hours. The Committee in its letter to Sharma said that his remarks tantamount to his expulsion from the party.
