JAMMU, Aug 13: Tiranga rallies were taken out with enthusiasm and zeal.
Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industries carried out ‘Tiranga Rally’ as a part of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign to mark the celebration of 75 years of Independence (Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav). The ‘Tiranga Rally’ was flagged off by the Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar along with IGP Mukesh Singh and Chamber President Arun Gupta from Karan Market. The rally after passing through various markets culminated at Shri Raghunath ji Temple.
In connection with the ongoing “Bharat Jodo” campaign launched by the party a massive Tiranga Rally was organized by Congress workers under the leadership of senior party leader and former MLC Balbir Singh in Jasrota Assembly constituency in District Kathua.
Addressing the people at various places, Balbir Singh said that the nation is celebrating its 75th Independence Day and it is all due to the supreme sacrifices of freedom fighters that the nation achieved Independence.
J&K is resonating with national slogans with the PM’s “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, said MP (Lok Sabha) Jugal Kishore Sharma, while flagging off a Tiranga rally organized by BJP senior leader and Councillor Ward Number 41 Sanjay Baru at Talab Tillo.
J&K BJP Media Incharge Dr Pardeep Mahotra, Mandal President Keshav Chopra, Councillor Ward Number 40 Neelam Nargotra, Convenor Health and Medical Cell Puneet Mahajan, BJP activists and prominent locals participated in the massive Tiranga Rally, which started from Poonch House Ground and proceeded towards Talab Tillo Main Chowk and again culminated in the Poonch House Ground passing through the main Talab Tillo Road.
Rakesh Sharma (Fine Arts College) with college students, Yash Pal Shivgotra, Atul Chopra, Devinder Gupta (Laadi), Parveen Ghai, Sonali Gupta, Bubesh Thappa, Puran Sharma, Ramesh Sharma, Raj Kumar, Rakesh Sharma, Ajay Gupta, Ashish Mangotra, Puran Atri, Koushal Gupta, Sehdev Singh, Krisan lal, Sanjay Mehra, Atul Gupta and others were amongst the prominent to participate in the event.
Arvind Gupta, Secretary J&K BJP, organized a Tiranga Rally at Kotli Colony, Rehari, Jammu. Arvind Gupta, while addressing on the occasion, said that the Tiranga rally is being organized in connection with the historical event of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav on the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
As a part of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, a mega Tiranga rally from Dak Bunglow Chowk to Khanabal Chowk in District Anantnag was organized by BJP National Council member Mohd Rafiq Wani in which BJP spokesperson Abhijeet Jasrotia and former MLC and convener International Public and Relations Ambardar presided as chief guests. The rally also witnessed the presence of BJP UT Vice President Mahila Morcha Rumaisa Rafiq and senior BJP leader Pinka Malik.
Continuing its Har Ghar Tiranga campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu organized the Special Tiranga Rally and a patriotic Nukkad Natak programme at ZPHQ Jammu here today. The rally started from ZPHQ Jammu which was flagged off by Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu Zone Mukesh Singh which had an overwhelming participation including the Police officers and officials of ZPHQ Jammu and officers and officials of the ZPHQ premises which include Range Police Headquarters, Crime, Traffic, GPF officials beside officers and officials of Jammu Police. The Tiranga Rally mingled with the students including the NCC/NSS cadets of Women College Parade Jammu at Parade and culminated at the complex of ZPHQ Jammu. J&K Police and CRPF held special performance of bands at CPO Chowk Jammu. Later, a skit on the theme “Aan Baan Shan of Tiranga”‘ was also organized in the complex of ZPHQ Jammu. The students of Women College Parade inspired the participants with their mesmerizing presentation and put across a message of hoisting the tricolour. The participants were also presented memento and participation certificates.
In connection with Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Bharat Vikas Parishad JK Prant organized a bike rally from Gole Market Gandhi Nagar, which passed through various areas and concluded at Smart City JDA parking Indira Chowk. SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli flagged off the rally along with Dev Raj Sharma, President Region North-1. At the end of the rally, Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation Chander Mohan Gupta addressed the participants. Ashok Khajuria Prant President, Narender Misra Prant General Secretary, BB Sharma Finance Secretary, Rajesh Gupta Organizing Secretary, Vijay Sharma Vice President, Ashok Gupta, Trishula Gupta Prant Mahila Sajojita and many others were present on the occasion.
Police Station Miran Sahib organized bike Rally to mark Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign and to encourage people to hoist the national flag at their homes to mark the completion of 75th year of Independence. SHO Miran Sahib Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq, PSIs, Sarpanches, Panches, President Market Association Miran Sahib besides prominent citizens from different walks participated with enthusiasm in rally. Earlier, an impressive campaign was organized at Police Public School Miran Sahib in order to infuse sense of patriotism and brotherhood among youngsters.
As a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, BDO Thannamandi organized a Tiranga rally in Thannamandi area. A large number of locals, prominent citizens, employees of various departments, members of civil society and PRIs participated in the rally.
District Administration Ramban launched Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan encouraging people to hoist the Tiranga at their homes to mark the 75 years of India’s Independence. On an inaugural day of the campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Ramban Police organized massive Tiranga Rally from DPL ground to Cafeteria Morh which witnessed huge public participation including students and other persons from all walks and across the district. Deputy Commissioner, Ramban Mussarat Islam and SSP Ramban, Mohita Sharma flagged off the rally. President MC Ramban, Sunita Sumbria, DDC Councillor Rakesh Thakur, ADDC, Rajinder Sharma, ADC, Harbans Sharma, Additional SP, Rajni Sharma, DySP Headquarter, Pardeep Singh Sen, DySP DAR Waqar Ahmed and various senior officers were also present on the occasion. At the end, Girl students of HSS Ramban presented a Nukad Natak at Cafeteria Morh.
On the anniversary of Independence, Rajouri District Congress Committee organized Gaurav Yatra. It was organized under the chairmanship of Congress District President and Former Minister Shabbir Ahmed Khan and Councilor Rajesh Gupta.
Under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and in a run-up to the nation’s 75th Independence Day, the Department of Physical Education, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar organized ‘Tiranga Rally’ which was participated by hundreds of faculty members and students. The rally was flagged off by Director NIT Srinagar, Prof (Dr.) Rakesh Sehgal, in presence of Registrar Prof. Syed Kaiser Bukhari, Dean R&C Prof. MF Wani along with all Deans, HoD’s, and faculty members.
A grand Tiranga Rally was organized by Raghunath Bazaar Businessmen Association led by its President Sanjay Gupta. Amarjyoti Raina Deputy Director Tourism, SP City Kulbir Handa, DySP Sharad Kalu and SHO City Inspector Rakesh Sharma also accompanied the rally. Amit Goel General Secretary and office bearers Sanjay Sethi, Nitin Gupta and Ankush Sethi were present on the occasion.
Under supervision of Block Medical Officer Mendhar Dr Parvaiz Ahmed Khan, a Tiranga rally was organized at Government Sub District Hospital Mendhar. On the occasion, Dr Parvaiz Ahmed Khan Block Medical Officer Mendhar presented details about the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
A Tiranga rally, led by senior BJP leader Arun Sharma and Prabhari Samba District, Narayan Singh, was taken out from Vijaypur to Purmandal in Samba district. A large number of people took part in the rally, which comprised of bikes and cars. Holding National tricolor and raising patriotic slogans, the enthusiastic BJP activists and others assembled at Vijaypur and then marched towards Purmandal while passing through several areas.
Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof Akbar Masood celebrated Har Ghar Tiranga campaign with gaiety and fervour. On the occasion, a Tiranga Rally was organized on the campus in which officers, faculty members, students, scholars and staff of the University participated. On the occasion, a plantation drive, one day national workshop, a digital exhibition and No to drugs pledge events were organized.
Continuing its Har Ghar Tiranga campaign under the aegis of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, Udhampur Police organized bike Tiranga Rally to celebrate 75th year of Independence. The rally was flagged off by SSP Udhampur Dr Vinod Kumar.
Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha in a meeting here today chaired by Romesh Chander Gupta, Sabha president decided to join ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign from today August 15, 2022.
On this occasion, National Flag was hoisted by Sabha president along with large number of eminent personalities of Mahajan community at Mahajan Bhawan, Shalamar Road, Jammu.
Prominent personalities of Mahajan community who participated in the meeting were Shiv Partap Gupta, Harinder Gupta, Sanjay Mahajan, Prabhu Dayal Gupta, Kulbushan Gupta (Mannu), etc.
To join the campaign of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to hoist Tricolour atop all houses, office, shops, etc, a Shobha Yatra was taken out by Arun Chowdhary, president Arya Pratinidhi Sabha J&K. Arvind Gupta along with executives of various organisations and more than 150 other people also participated in the Shobha Yatra beating drums and chanting slogans. The procession concluded at Kotli Bhawan Rehari Kotli Colony.
Students of S.D Kanya Vidhayala, Jullaka Mohalla took out Tiranga rally which passed through different areas of Jammu city. Students in the rally raised pro-India slogans.
Janipur Traders Association organised a Tiranga rally which passed through different areas of Janipur. Prominent among those who participated in the rally were JMC Councillors–Yash Pal Sharma (Mantoo) and Subash Sharma of Wards 35 and 36 respectively. Many other prominent persons of the locality were also present in the rally with children from schools like–Crescent Public School, Indira Public School, Santosh Vidyamandir Public School, Vidya Jyoti School, Blue Bird School and Spring Plus.
Deaf and Dumb students of School for Speech and Hearing Handicapped, run by Samaj Kalyan Kendra (SKK), Jammu today took out an impressive Tiranga Rally in the city and joined nationwide celebrations of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and Har Ghar Tiranga to mark 75th Independence Day. Over 80 Divyangs of the School participated in Tiranga Rally which was flagged off by SKK president, KB Jandial. Principal of the School, Roshan Bhan and teachers accompanied the Divyang in the Tiranga March. They also unfurled the Tricolour to mark the Independence Day.
