JAMMU, Aug 16: Gangyal Police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest from the past three months.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Gangyal led by SHO Inspector Joginder Singh Chib conducted raid and apprehended an absconder, who was at large since May 2022.
The accused was identified as Suresh Kumar, son of Rattan Chand, a resident of Lachhipur Tehsil Marheen District Kathua.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 56/2022 under section 376 IPC with Police Station Gangyal.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
The arrest was made under the supervision of SDPO South Sachit Sharma.
