REASI, Sept 25: Divisional Commissioner Jammu Shantmanu accompanied by DDC Reasi Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary today visited Mahore and Dharmari areas of district Reasi, where they held interaction with the public and representatives of PRIs.
The people put forth their demands and problems and Div Com issued on spot instructions to concerned officers for early redressal of problems.
Later, Shantmanu reviewed the pace of various development works and inspected restoration works especially roads of BRO, PMGSY and PWD.
He also inspected works being executed under MGNREGA and issue of Job Cards under MGNREGA. He instructed the issuance of new ration cards and job cards on priority.
Deputations from Gulabgarh, Arnas, Chassana and Sungri also met Div Com and put their issues like construction of mini secretariat at Mahore, tehsil status for Chassana, payment of land compensation and compensation for damaged crops, rehabilitation of persons displaced due to Salal at Arnas and development of religious tourism.
He assured people to take all matters with higher authorities for approval.
