Srinagar, Sept 25: Six residential houses were gutted in Srinagar district in two fire incidents.
A police spokesman said fire broke out at Kaka Mohalla, Srinagar, and gutted the residential houses of Ghulam Mohammad Kak, Ghulam Qadir Kak, both sons of Mohammad Sultan, Ali Mohammad Kak, Abdul Aziz Kak, both sons of Ghulam Ahmad and Shakeel Ahmad Wani. Two shops belonging to Sameer Ahmad Kak son of Ali Mohammad were also gutted in the incident.
In another incident, fire broke out in the joint residential house of Ghulam Sheikh son of Abdul Gaffar Sheikh and his son Ghulam Hassan Sheikh son of Ghulam Sheikh of Maloora, Srinagar, resulting in damage to the house and household goods. However, no loss of life or injury was reported in this incident, the spokesman said.
