NEW DELHI, Aug 20: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Kashmir province incharge and Delhi’s Cabinet Minister Imran Hussain today said that pro-people policies of the party are receiving massive support of masses in entire India including Jammu & Kashmir.
Imran was addressing party workers during a function held at Party office in which senior political leader from People’s Democratic Party and a noted socio-political personality of Kashmir, Nazir Yatoo joined Aam Aadmi Party. He said that joining the Party by such big political leaders from J&K shows that the Party is getting strengthened with each passing day and time is not far when people will elect AAP for their development.
He said that Nazir Yatoo is a big political face in J&K who is from Charar-e-Shareef in Kashmir. He is not from a political family but has proven that hard work on political fields yields results even if you don’t have a political background. Imran asserted.
Yatoo had served as Lecturer from 2005-2007 and resigned from the profession to enter politics. He had held various important assignments in J&K that include Vice Chairperson of J&K Cements and was a candidate for Assembly polls from Charar-e-Sharif Assembly Segment.
While interacting with media persons, Nazir Yatoo said that J&K is passing through a state of uncertainty with entire UT is plunged in chaos with misgovernance, poor public services delivery system and lack of approach to redress grievances of masses is on peak affecting everyone’s life. He said AAP headed by Arvind Kejriwal is now a big ray of hope for the entire J&K and public aspirations from this party and leader are running high.
He further said that massive public support for AAP in J&K is increasing with each passing day and joining of faces from all sides is a clear indication of it.
