MENDHAR, Aug 22: The dead body of a youth was recovered from Gohlad area of Mendhar in district Poonch today.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Jabar (22), son of Mohd Khushal, resident of Kas Baladi in Mankote area of Mendhar. The police said body was lying near Sone Ki Bawali in Gohlad area under mysterious circumstances.
A local informed police about the matter and SHO Mendhar, Niyaz Ahmed reached the spot along with some policemen. The body was shifted to SDH Mendhar for postmortem. The family alleged that Jabar was apparently murdered as his father was also done to death few years back. The police registered a case and started investigation.
