JAMMU, Aug 23: A joint meeting of residents of Durga Nagar and its adjoining areas was held here today under the chairmanship of Roshan Lal Raina, president Durga Nagar Sector-1 and 3.
Sanjay Ganjoo, president Sector-2 and extension was also present in the meeting in which the issue of water crisis in the area was discussed.
Speakers in the meeting said that water supply in the area is made after 8-9 days due to non-functional Tube Well in the area from last one and half month.
They said that the Tube Well should be made functional soon so that the public of the area may heave a sigh of relief.
They said that they pay water bills in advance but get water supply only for 7-8 days in a month.
Speakers in the meeting said that they will come on roads to protest if water supply in the area is not made normal soon.
