JAMMU, Aug 23: A team of Jammu Smart City Project (SSP) here today visited Landoi Choi (Nallah passing through Nanak Nagar) in Ward number 44.
Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor, S. Inder Singh Soodan of Ward number 44 (Nanak Nagar) accompanied the visiting team comprising Director Smart City Project, Executive Engineer Smart City Project, Executive Engineer JMC, Executive Engineer UEED, Chief Transport Officer JMC and Health Officer JMC.
Prominent citizens of the area were also present on the occasion.
The visiting team met locals of the area and discussed with them the problems they face during rainy season as the Nallah gets flooded and the dirty water enters residential houses and shops in the area thereby causing damages.
The JMC Councillor and locals of the area were assured by the visiting team that they will soon submit a detailed report in this regard for a long lasting solution to the problems the people of the area face due to flooding of the Nallah.
