2 thefts cases solved

POONCH, Aug 24: With the recovery of a stolen bike and some property, Mendhar Police claimed to have worked out two different theft cases.
Official sources said that special police teams under the supervision of SDPO Mendhar, Sheezan Bhat were constituted and the team led by SHO Mendhar Inspector Nayaz Ahmed assisted by PSIs Sunil Sharma and Venketesh, after collecting various evidences arrested the accused namely Mohd Navid, son of Mohd Khalil, resident of Kalaban. The accused was found involved in case FIR No. 185/2022 u/s 379 IPC of Police Station Mendhar.
The other accused person involved in case FIR No. 185/2022 u/s 457/380 IPC of Police Station Mendhar, was identified as Ajaz Ahmed Bhatti, son of Talab Hussain, resident of Sathra, in Mandi. He was driving Tata Mobile bearing registration No. JK12A- 2093.
During questioning, these accused confessed their involvement in the crime and on their disclosure the stolen bike and other property was recovered.
