CHENNAI, Sept 27: This is going to be one monstrous cake!.
A 100-metre long eggless ‘chocolate-photo’ cake, weighing 1000 kg, will be on display at a popular city mall on October 2, commemorating the ‘joy of giving week’.
The French Loaf, bakery division of city-based Oriental Cuisines Pvt Ltd, would host the delicacy.
About 100 chefs would make the cake that would feature images sketched by children of city-based Madras Seva Sadan Group of Institutions, “along with the theme pictures taken by amateur photographers,” , a company release said.
It would be displayed at the Forum Vijaya Mall, Vadapalani, and the proceeds would go to underprivileged children in the city, the release added. (PTI)
