JAMMU, Aug 25: Notwithstanding the fact that government is providing better health facilities in rural areas of Jammu and Kashmir UT, social organization also extending help by organizing health checkup camp for the welfare of people belonging to rural areas. A Health checkup camp was organized by social organization at Panchayat Mandal on Thursday for the welfare of rural people.
Jai Durga Amba Charitable trust with active support from panchayat members and prominent people of Mandal organized Health Checkup camp at Panchayat Ghar Mandal. Dr Sumeet Gupta and Dr Anajna Bhalwal checked more than 150 patients and provided free medicines to the ailing patients. People from surrounding villages of Panchayat Mandal, were benefitted from the Health Camp.
Highlighting the motive the camp, Dr Sumeet Gupta said people from rural areas don’t have enough time to seek advice of doctors due to their daily routine work. Health Checkup camp is an initiative to provide health facility at their door step. Sarpanch Mandal Som Nath Dogra, Naib Sarpanch Ravipaul Sharma, Panch Jodh Raj and youth social worker Raman Sharma expressed gratitude for organizing the camp in Mandal.
