KPUF, AMEAK demand justice for Sunil Bhat’s family

JAMMU, Aug 25: Hundreds of people here today paid glowing tribute to Sunil Bhat on his tenth day at Muthi Ghat.
Bhat was martyred by terrorists in an apple orchard in Chotipora, Shopian in South Kashmir last week.
After performing Shanti Path the mourners staged a protest demanding justice to the family of martyr.
Holding banners and photograph of Sunil Bhat they expressed concern over failure of administration in giving security to minorities in Kashmir.
The protestors demanded that PM package employees should be shifted to safer places outside Kashmir till normalcy returns there.
Convenor Kashmiri Pandits United Front (KPUF), Satish Kissu assured full support to the demand of displaced KPs.
He expressed serious concern over the increasing militancy incidents on KPs in Kashmir and requested majority community to come forward to protect the minorities living in Kashmir from Pakistan sponsored terrorism.
Kissu demanded a suitable job for the wife of Sunil Bhat and ex-gratia to the family.
Meanwhile, AMEAK president Satish Bhat urged the government to settle the genuine demands of PM package employees.
Satish Khoda, chief spokesperson KPUF, representative from Shriya Bhat Mission Hospital—Veerji Bhat and others also spoke on the occasion.
