RS PURA, Sept 27: Senior Congress leader and MLC, BR Kundal today visited village Prem Nagar here today and discussed with the Sarpanch and Panchs the issues needed to be highlighted in the upcoming council meeting.
Sarpanchs and Panchs from the nearby villages were also present. First of all, 2 minutes silence was observed in the memory of the martyrs of twin fidayeen attacks that took place yesterday in Kathua and Samba.
On the occasion, Sarpanch Devendra Sharma apprised the MLC about the demand of the Miran Sahib residents to make a playground for the youth of the area in Panchayat Ban Sultan, where he alleged that there is enough land for the purpose.
Sarpanch Kishore raised the issue of upgradation of Maralia Allopathic Dispensary whereas the locals demanded to open a LPG Gas agency in Miran Sahib.
Social worker, Harbans Bhagat, voiced for making the drainage system of the area better.
Kundal assured that he will raise all the issues pertaining to the welfare of the Constituency in the upcoming Council meeting.
