Sagar for early completion of Ganderbal development projects

SRINAGAR, Sept 27: Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Ali Mohammad Sagar today directed the officers to ensure early completion of various developmental projects undertaken in the Ganderbal constituency.
The Minister was addressing officers during a review meeting of the status of the completion of various developmental programmes undertaken in Ganderbal constituency.
Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Sarmed Hafeez, Managing Director JKPCC, Chief Engineer Mechanical Engineering Division, Shafat Ahmad Chisti, Mission Director NRHM, Dr. Yashpal Sharma and other senior officers of various departments like R&B, PHE, Irrigation etc were also present.
Sagar asked the officers to ensure early completion of the hospital being constructed at Ganderbal with an estimated cost of Rs. 55 crore. He said the various departments involved in the construction should synergies their efforts, so that bottlenecks if any are removed and it gets completed maintaining that it would provide quality medicare facilities to the large chunk of population in the district and its catchment areas.
The Minister directed for ensuring early completion of the bus stand being constructed in the district. He said that the same would go long way in regulating the bus service from the district headquarters to different places. He also asked for speeding up the process of widening of the road from Nagbal onwards and said that the same would go a long in ensuring better traffic mobility.
“We have to ensure that all the developmental projects undertaken in the Ganderbal area are completed as soon as possible so that they can be dedicated to the public and it should be our endeavour to develop the area so that it comes up as  a model one”, the Minister maintained. He further directed the officers to carry out monthly review meetings so that the status of implementation of various development programmes is also monitored at regular intervals.
