Assam Police traces missing person in Mendhar

MENDHAR, Aug 28: The Assam Police arrived in Mendhar sub-division of Poonch district on Sunday to pick up a mentally disturb person hailing from Assam.
Report said that, a person having mental health problem was missing from his native place in Assam, This man was found stray in Mendhar town and main market for the last three years. On August 6, on the request of some locals Excelsior scribe lifted him in injured condition and shifted to local hospital for treatment.
Mir Mohammad, an ambulance driver, started taking care of him in the hospital on human grounds, helping him from bathing to eating. BMO Dr Praviz Ahmed Khan and his team rendered good treated to him.
When the picture of Mir Mohammad and this ailing person went viral on social media. The picture was also sent by a political leader from Jammu and Kashmir to his friend in Assam. Then spotting on social media Assam police contacted Poonch police and told that this person is a resident of Assam who is missing for the last three years.
Assam Police team reached Mendhar today to take away the missing person. He has been identified as Jaidev Brahma (50, son of Salish Brahma, resident of Bongoion village in Tehsil and district Kokrahan in Assam. He was provided treatment in hospital for 23 days.
After the written and legal formality the police and hospital administration Mendhar handed him over to Assam Police.
