JAMMU, Aug 28: Channi Himmat Police arrested a burglar and recovered stolen items from his possession.
As per police sources, on August 19 this year, some unidentified person(s) break the window pane of a car at Sector 1 Channi Himmat and decamped with a purse containing some cash and some documents.
On this, a case under relevant sections was registered at Police Station Channi Himmat and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Channi Himmat led by SHO Inspector Deepak Katoch was constituted under the supervision of SDPO East Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafri.
The team put in hectic efforts and finally arrested the thief along with stolen items.
The arrested person was identified as Joginder Lal, son of Desraj of Extension Trikuta Nagar District Jammu.
Further questioning of the arrested thief is going on.
