2 dead bodies recovered in Samba

SAMBA, Aug 29: Two dead bodies were recovered in Samba district by the police today.
As per reports in the first phase of the industrial area of Samba, an unidentified body has been recovered from the adjoining drain. According to the information, today some people saw the dead body of a person lying in the drain, after which the police was informed.
Police reached the spot and took the body out of the drain with the help of local people. The dead body was badly swollen and is in a very bad condition, due to which it appears that the body was lying in the drain for the last many days.
Police have started investigation after registering a case. Police took the dead body in its possession and it has been kept in the mortuary of District Hospital Samba for identification.
Meanwhile, another dead body was found in the canal by the locals who informed the Ghagwal police.
Police reached the spot and took out the body from the canal. After investigation, the body has been identified as Kewal Krishna, son of Gyan Singh resident of village Thatthi tehsil Madeen district Kathua. Since then the relatives of the deceased were looking for him, after the post-mortem of the dead body, the police handed it over to the relatives for last rites. Police said that his missing report was lodged on August 27 at around 11 am at Chadwal Chowki, since then the relatives of the deceased were looking for him.
