JAMMU, Aug 29: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leadership organized review meeting of Chhamb and Akhnoor Assembly constituencies as a part of election preparations here today.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Darshan Rana, Incharge of Jammu, Udhampur and Reasi districts of the party. The president of Bhaichara Committee and district president Jammu Tarsem Lal while speaking on the occasion urged the party office bearers and functionaries to strengthen the party at grass roots level and constitute booth/ ward level committees in these constituencies.
They motivated them by highlighting the sacrifices and hard work of the party founder, Kanshi Ram that how a man from poor background in Punjab rose up and changed the destiny of the down trodden people in the country with his vision and wisdom.
Prominent among others present on the occasion included –Om Parkash, Manoj Kumar, Ramesh Kumar, Pawan Bhagat, Malkeet Verma, Girdhari Lal and Ashok Kumar.
