Doda, Aug 30: The Outsourced Employees (DEOs/Drivers/Helpers) working in the Health Department under National Health Mission across the UT Jammu and Kashmir have demanded an immediate hike in their monthly honorarium.
As per press statement issued to media, one of the DEO Mohammad Umar said that they have been engaged in Health Department under NHM through outsourced mode and are working in the department for more than seven years at different capacities.
Further the outsourced employees informed that they have worked tirelessly day and night during the peak time of COVID-19 pandemic bravely leading the battle on frontline and putting their lives at risk but unfortunately our genuine demand of salary hike has never been considered by the higher authorities, thus by affecting their social standing and psychological wellbeing.
The outsourced employees have urged upon the Administrative Secretary Health and Medical Education Department J&K and Mission Director NHM J&K to look into the matter on priority by considering their genuine demand of salary hike.
