JAMMU, Aug 30: SMVD NarayanaSuperspeciality Hospital organized a CME on Stroke here today.
STROKE CONCLAVE 2022, was organized by Neurosciences department of the hospital, led by Neurosurgeons Dr JP Singh and Dr Mahander Pall, Neurologists DrAnkush Sharma and Dr Pooja Gupta, and Neuroanaesthetist Dr Summit Biloria.
One of India’s leading Stoke specialist, Prof. Subhash Kaul, Ex. Head Neurology and Dean Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences and presently Senior Neurologist and Stroke Specialists at KIMS, Secunderabad and Dr Tariq Matin, Senior Consultant EndovascularNeurointerventionat Naryana Hospital Gurugram, were the guest speakers.
In a very well attended seminar by both senior faculty and junior doctors and postgraduate students of Jammu and adjoining districts of Udhampur and Reasi, Dr SubhashKaul talked in succinct detail about the acute management of stroke and also elucidated recent advances and recommended guidelines. Dr Tariq Matin talked about the advances in Endovascular treatment of acute stroke, an evolving and rapidly developing modality.The sessions were chaired by Jammu’s senior neurologist and neurosurgeons- Dr SK Gupta, Dr JP Singh and Dr Anil Sharma.
