‘Dharam Sammelan’ in Jammu on Sept 5, 6

JAMMU, Sept 1: Famous religious personality, Swami Hari Chaitnya Puri Ji Maharaj today said that India is emerging as Vishav Guru and showing path of world peace to the other nations.
Swami Ji, who arrived here in the city of temples today, was accorded warm reception by his followers. He was taken in a decorated vehicle to the venue and then he interacted with the media-persons here.
Known as great religious preacher, Swami Ji said that there was urgent need of peace in the world in view of the clouds of war hovering over certain countries. He said that great powers in the world are at the verge of direct clash and this situation has posed a great thereat to the humanity around the globe.
He said India has been emerging as `Vishav Guru’ under present scenario and can become a torch bearer in playing its great role to ensure peace in the world. No doubt the relations with China have deteriorated and Pakistan has waged militancy since long, but India was strong enough to protect its borders and sanctity. He said under today’s emerging crisis and possibility of out-breaking world war, India can show the path of peace to the other countries and save the humanity from major destruction and devastation.
Swami Ji said India is the land of Lord Rama and Krishna where cow is worshipped as `Gau Mata’. But in some parts of the country killing of cows is shameful. Cow slaughtering should be stopped in the entire country. He also strongly opposed the killing of girl child in mother’s womb. He said with this male- female ratio has been badly effected in the country.
Meanwhile, Swami Chaitnya Puri Ji will address a grand religious conference at Brahaman Sabha , Parade Ground Jammu on Sept 5 and 6 at 3 pm. On Sept 2, he will address a large religious gathering at Dalori in Rajouri and on Sept 3 at Chak Malal in Khour Sub Division. On Sept 4, a Virat Dharam Sammelan will be held at Akhnoor town.
