JAMMU, Sept 2: Member Parliament Jammu-Poonch constituency, Jugal Kishore Sharma, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) general secretary (organisation), Ashok Koul and BJP senior leader, Baldev Singh Billawaria inaugurated “Atal Ji Park” at Ward 56 Gangyal in RS Pura-Jammu South constituency.
The construction work of Atal Ji Park was completed under the supervision of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC). After the inauguration, a public meeting was organised under the leadership of BJP leader Baldev Singh Billawaria.
Addressing, MP Jugal Kishore Sharma said that Atal Ji dedicated his entire life in selfless service to the nation setting authentic standards of his good governance. He said that the contribution of Atal Ji in nation building will always be remembered with respect. Praising Billawaria, he said that the way in which development work has been done for the people of the Ward 56 Gangyal, it is commendable.
Highlighting the development work in his Parliamentary constituency, Jugal said that many exemplary measures have been taken to improve the standard of living of the people in the Parliamentary area and for this purpose the Modi Government has taken various initiatives to develop every corner in a better way and funds have been provided for development. He said that provision of adequate drinking water, water facilities, better electricity, medical facilities and infrastructure along with better lane drains and deep drains is being given priority. Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Koul said that former Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a politician who ruled the hearts of the people and his dream was the upliftment of the people sitting at the extreme end of the country and good governance in the country.
He said that Atal Ji drew the line of good governance during his tenure and today Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is trying to enlarge the same line.
BJP leader Baldev Singh Billawaria complimented MP for visiting the Ward and said Jugal is always ready to provide support to his workers. He said that under the guidance of Ashok Koul, BJP won the 2014 Lok Sabha elections and Assembly elections, 2019 Lok Sabha elections and Municipal elections, BDC, DDC elections the party also waved the flag of victory.
While highlighting the achievements of Ward 56 Gangyal Billawaria said that Gangyal Ward has made a lot of progress in the direction of development in the area.
Later, many Congress and National Conference (NC) workers joined the BJP. Civil Engineer, Sunil Jalpuri was also honored for giving better service.
