“Mufti’s PDP only bundle of lies’

KISHTWAR, June 12: Cautioning coalition partner, Congress not to harass NC cadre in areas represented by them, former Health and Medical Education Minister from National Conference Dr Mustafa Kamal has warned that such an attitude will only prove disastrous for the Congress in coming days.
Addressing a party convention at Kishtwar town and in Kastigarh today, Dr Kamal while hitting at Congress cadre cautioned the coalition partner in the Government to desist from harassing NC cadre in the areas represented by them. He warned that such an attitude of the people in Congress will only prove disastrous for that party in the coming days.
Dr Kamal further asked the people and the party workers not to lend ears to the enemies of National Conference particularly Mufti Sayed and his communal party (PDP). Terming the PDP as bundle of lies Dr Kamal alleged that its leaders only believed in falsehood.
Dr Kamal cautioned the people not to give credence to this party which is seeped in lies and falsehood and drapped red the blood of thousands upon thousands of innocent lives over the National Conference Party which has been at the fore front always for the cause of people.
While referring to certain complaints raised by the party workers during the convention, Dr Kamal said that Congressmen should avoid harassing the National Conference workers in the areas dominated by them. Such attitude can prove counter productive for them, he maintained.
He said party will redouble its efforts to ensure that benefits of development percolate to these remote and backward areas and that essentials like ration, water, electricity, education, road connectivity are made available by the Government headed by Omar Abdullah. He asked the Panchayat members to work in coordination with the Government. Dr Kamal renewed the party commitment to reach out to the people in the remotest corner of the State and spread the message of the party of `Naya Kashmir’.
Provincial president of the Party Rattan Lal Gupta, MLC Khalid Najeeb Suhrawardy, MLA Sajjat Ahmed Kitchloo, district president Tanveer Kitchloo and Sheikh Bashir Ahmed provincial secretary, also addressed the gathering.
