Srinagar, Sept 29: One person died and five others were injured in different road accidents across Kashmir valley today.
Police said that a motorcycle bearing registration number JK01S/9843 driven by Suhail Ahmad Langoo son of Mushtaq Ahmad resident of Dalgate at present Abu Bakur Colony Nowgam has been hit by Tata 407 vehicle bearing registration number JK04/7400 at Budshah Nagar, Srinagar, resulting in injuries to motorcyclist. The injured was shifted to Bone and Joint Hospital for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries. A case has been registered in this regard.
Police said a load Carrier bearing registration number JK03D/3112 hit and injured a pedestrian Bashir Ahmad Awam resident of Bon Mohalla, Kokernag at Bona Dialgam in Anantnag.
Police said a motorcycle bearing registration number JK03A/1507 hit a road divider at Devsar in Kulgam resulting in injuries to motorcyclist Adil Hussain Thoker resident of Kapran and Showkat Ahmad Naik resident of Kapran. The injured have been shifted to District Hospital, Kulgam for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
Police said a minibus bearing registration number JK13/7926 collided with Sumo bearing registration number JK22/2644 at Pujo, Shopian, resulting in injuries to a lady Sarwar Jan resident of Karewa Zawoora, Shopian. The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
Police said an unidentified Auto hit and injured a pedestrian Zaheer Ahmad resident of Bajnoor UP at present Rajbagh, Srinagar at Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar. The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
