JAMMU : As many as 42 civilians today exchanged sides along the Line of Control (Loc) in a weekly Poonch-Rawlakote bus service via Chakkan-da-Bagh in Poonch district.
“From this side of the border, single fresh Indian citizen travelled across while 12 residents of Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir after completing their stipulated stay on this side returned to their native places in a weekly bus when the gate was opened at 1337 hrs,” an official here told reporters.
He said 10 Indian citizens from across the border returned while 19 fresh PoK residents also reached Poonch.
“The gate was closed at 1341 hrs while tight security arrangements were made on the spot,” he added. (AGENCIES)
