JAMMU, Sept 7: The spike of heinous crime against women is worrisome.
This was stated by National Awami United Party (NAUP) General Secretary Shikha Bandral Thakur while interacting with media persons.
She criticized the system of Police Department and security system of Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu as a woman was raped inside the hospital premises.
She appealed to the Principal GMCH to enhance the security cover in the hospital so that such type of crime can be curbed.
She also appealed to the Lt Gov Administration to take stern action against hospital security and concerned Police Post Incharge so that crime against woman can be stopped.
Thakur also appealed to GMC authorities to keep strict vigil over the touts roaming inside the hospital premises without any fear.
