JAMMU, Sept 30: A general body meeting of SDM Arya Samaj Wazir Bagh, Srinagar and DAV Managing Committee Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar was held here today.
The meeting started with usual hawan. Dr K L Choudhary a well known physician and writer, C M Koul, Dr M K Mam, Prof P K Koul, Dr Sushil Wattal, V K Koul, Dr Agnishekhar, convener PK, Sheela Handoo, P N Goja, Prof Anil Kumar and Vinod Sharma were among others who attended the meeting. They expressed their pleasure over the taking over of the Institute back by its original Management Committee and extended full cooperation to the Academic Council in running the institute.
The Academic Council which was constituted in the meeting will be headed by T K Ganjoo with Davinder Koul, R K Koul, Dr M K Mam and Prof Anil Kumar as members who will work for revamping the Institute so that it is put back on rails. The affiliation of the Institute since 1976 was ratified in the meeting.
