SRINAGAR, Sept 10: The Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) today terminated the temporary engagement of its Media Assistant, Masrat Yousuf.
As per an order issued here, Masrat Yousuf daughter of Muhammad Yousuf Dar resident of Wazir Bagh Srinagar was engaged on consolidated wages as Media Assistant in Srinagar Municipal Corporation for 06 months with one day break after every 89 days, subject to the condition that the engagement shall be purely temporarily and terminable at any time.
The order stated that her service was extended for a further six months from 27.01.2012 on similar terms and conditions.
“Srinagar Municipal Corporation vide order No. 574 of 2022 dated: 05.05.2022, has posted Mr. Idrees Agail (Permanent Employee) as I/C Public Relation Officer, Srinagar Municipal Corporation to deal with media-related matters.”
The order stated that SMC no longer requires the services of Miss Masrat Yousuf. “Hence, no further extension of services is granted with effect from 09.09.2022.”
