JAMMU, Sept 11: Dr KD Multi Speciality Hospital Marble Market Trikuta Nagar here organized a Free Multi-Speciality Medical Health Camp today in collaboration with the Bhargava Degree College Samba at Bhargava Degree College, Main Road Samba with the aim of promoting health awareness among the public and offering them easy access to quality healthcare.
More than 250 people visited & availed the services in the camp offered specialist doctors. Medicines were also provided for free.
A team of specialist doctors, consultants, nurses and volunteers conducted free consultations and checkups across various specialist departments.
The free facilities provided in the camp were free blood sugar, BP, free ECG and also Fibro Scan worth 5000 for free. Free consultation of a speciality doctors were also provided.
Doctors Available for check up were Ophthalmology Dr JP Singh and Dr Bhawana, Internal Medicine/Physician by Dr Ankur Malhotra, Gastroenterology by Dr Ankit Mahajan, Neurosurgery by Dr Kaiser Karim, Orthopaedics by Dr Nitin Sharma, Cardiology by Dr Najmus Saqib, General and Laproscopic Surgery by Dr Tejinder Pal Singh, Gynaecology by Dr Anupriya, IVF by Dr Reubina Singh, Emergency & Trauma by Dr Pooja Padha, Dental by Dr Rohit Gupta, Head & Neck Onco-Surgery by Dr Gurpreet Kaur.
Small summary on cancer screening was given at the Camp By Dr Gurpreet Kaur Head and Neck Cancer Surgeon and an awareness talk on Gynaecology Hygiene was delivered by Dr Anu Priya Gynaecologist.
The main motive behind organizing this health camp is to provide health support to the people and Dr Sumit Sharma CEO of the hospital also assured that these camps will be organized periodically. This initiative has been very well appreciated by everyone.
He also added that hospital is empanelled with Ayushman Bharat Yojana scheme and has conducted more than 100 surgeries in a span of one month the scheme.
