RAMBAN, Sept 11: Batote Police foiled bovines smuggling bids.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Batote laid a naka and intercepted three vehicles bearing registration numbers JK02S-8717, JK13F-9965 and JK13E- 1596 which were on their way from Jammu towards Srinagar.
During checking, police team rescued 49 bovine animals and seized the vehicles.
Three cases under relevant sections have been registered at Police Station Batote and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Batote Inspector Sam Paul Gill foiled the bids under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Ramban Pardeep Singh Sen and SSP Ramban Mohita Sharma.
