JAMMU, Sept 11: A delegation of over-aged youth and relief holders met Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner (Migrants) today and discussed various issues confronted by them with him.
The delegation demanded enhancement of monthly cash relief and Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner informed the delegation that the matter has been already taken up with higher authorities and hopefully the monthly cash assistance may get increased in coming times.
The ration issue was also discussed threadbare and the Commissioner informed that the same has been settled. The delegation also discussed the RBA and EWS certificate issue with Relief Commissioner and he intimated the delegation that the process of issuing these certificates has been simplified. He assured that entire process including revenue reports from Kashmir will be taken care of by Relief Organisation on its own.
