Srinagar, Sept 13: The FCS&CA today conducted a market checking during which several shops were inspected and one illegal LPG counter was sealed.
As per officials, 369 business establishments were inspected during the market checking and a penal sum of rupees Rs 34,950/- has been collected as a fine from 70 erring shopkeepers for violation.
“Also one illegal LPG counter stands sealed at Mujgund Srinagar,” the officials said.
They said that during the current financial year, an amount of over 55 lakh has been collected as a fine from the 11793 erring traders.
“Besides, 184 establishments have been sealed and police complaints against 12 erring traders also stand lodged.”
