SAMBA Sept 13: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (NC) provincial president of Women Wing, Satwant Kaur Dogra today said that BJP Government has totally failed to fulfill its promise of safety of women in Jammu & Kashmir.
Satwant Kaur Dogra was addressing party workers at Sangwali, Ghagwal block of Samba constituency. Zonal joint secretary, Chander Udhay Singh, Dev Raj Kapoor, provincial vice president of Women Wing, Rama Sambyal, district president, Ashu Rajput, block president, Kuldeep Verma, block president, Women Wing Arti Devi and block president, Youth Rajinder Kumar also addressed the gathering.
NC leader lashed out at the BJP, saying that the Government has utterly failed to fulfill its promise of ensuring security of women. What is happening in different parts of Jammu & Kashmir against women under the BJP regime is shameful. Satwant said that as per NCRB data, the crime against women in Jammu and Kashmir has increased by 15.62%.
