JAMMU, Sept 13: The dead body of an unknown handicapped man of age about 38 years was found today at Railway Station, Jammu.
“At about 5:50 AM, one unknown male (handicapped) was found in unconscious condition at Platform number 1 of Railway Station Jammu,” a spokesperson of GRP Jammu said.
He said the GRP officials rushed to the spot and shifted the person to Government Medical Collage Jammu for immediate medical treatment but after examination, the doctors at GMC Jammu declared him as brought dead. The dead body of the deceased was kept in mortuary room of GMC Jammu for postmortem/identification, he added.
The spokesperson said the deceased is wheatish in colour and wearing white T-shirt and brown trouser. “To ascertain the cause of death, inquest proceeding has been initiated at Police Station GRP Jammu,” he said.
