JAMMU, Sept 14: The brother of a police constable, whose house was raided by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) yesterday, died under mysterious circumstances at his residence at village Mattu in Khour area of this district.
The deceased was identified as Dheeraj Pangotra, son of Pawan Kumar, a resident of Village Mattu Tehsil Khour District Jammu.
After conducting post-mortem, the body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
Inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC have been initiated by Khour Police in this regard.
It is pertinent to mention here that the deceased’s brother Sunil Pangotra (police constable) house was yesterday raided by CBI in Jammu and Kashmir Police’s SI recruitment case. The raids were carried out in different states including Jammu and Kashmir.
