JAMMU, Oct 2: Dr. Ajay Kaul, Director Cardiac Surgery Fortis Escorts Hospital New Delhi visited Jammu to start OPD at SRL Diagnostic Gandhi Nagar Jammu. Dr Ajay Kaul is Cardiac Surgeon of Global fame. He examined patients with heart problems during his visit.
Besides postoperative follow up, he also examined a large number of patients and children with various heart diseases and advised them for further management. He said the motive of Fortis Escorts is to bring world class heart care facility to Jammu. Dr Ajay Kaul will be visiting Jammu once a month for OPD on regular basis.
On September 23 Dr Kaul, along with a team of highly accomplished doctors performed the first ever beating heart coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) using advanced techniques of Coronary Revascularization.
Dr Kaul will be performing surgery at Srinagar. With a vast experience of over 15000 cardiac operations. The Patient in question was a 52 year old male with a triple vessel disease who had his angiography done at Delhi. The surgery remained uneventful and he went home with no complication.
