JAMMU, Sept 21: Kavinder Gupta, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister has termed the opening of first cinema at Srinagar as another big achievement of Modi Government in J&K.
In a statement issued to media persons, he said that one after another, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has been accomplishing what he had promised in run up to Parliamentary elections in 2014 and 2019, with Cinema in Valley being the biggest leap after the scrapping of Article 370, which changed the course of the Union Territory of J&K.
“Development, peace, jobs, prosperity and above all satisfaction were promised by the PM Modi and one by one everything has been ensured to the people”, he said adding that BJP Government led by PM Modi has not bought the peace and prosperity rather it has established the same for the good of the people as earlier fabricated peace by the successive governments never lasted for long time and evaporated very fast. He said that peace and prosperity established by the Modi Government will be long lasting and will never diminish with time.
Meanwhile, Kavinder Gupta along with Member Parliament Jugal Kishore, Vinay Gupta district president, Ajay Gupta corporator, Narinder Koki and corporator, Lucky Puri started development work of a hall with an estimated cost of Rs 35 lakh.
