Youth attacked with sharp edged weapon, accused held

JAMMU, Sept 22: A 21-year-old youth was today attacked with sharp edged weapon by some miscreants in Gho Manahasan area of city outskirts.
According to police sources, over some old enmity, some 4 to 5 persons attacked 21-year-old Anshu Bangotra son of Ramesh Kumar, resident of Gho Manahasan with sharp edged weapons. They said in the assault, the victim suffered grievous injuries in his arms and legs and was rushed to a hospital outside J&K for specialized medical treatment.
Meanwhile, acting on the complaint lodged by relatives of the victim, a case FIR number 330/2022 U/S 341,307,147,506 IPC 4/25 A Act was registered in Police Station Domana and acting swiftly, the Police also managed to arrest two main culprits namely Rohit Singh son of Bachan Singh, resident of Shahpur (Gho Manahasan) and Sahil Singh alias Shalu son of Joginder Singh, resident of Gho Manahasan.
The arrest was made by a team of Police Station Domana led by SHO Inspector Tilak Raj.
