JAMMU, Oct 4:  A delegation of BJP workers from Kishtwar district led by BJP State secretary & prabhari Kishtwar Munish Sharma called on Director School Education complaining against the education authorities of Zonal Office Darbshalla, Kishtwar in respect of the selection of ReT teachers in Primary School of Kuna of Bunjwa area.
The delegation also included State Working Committee members Shakti Parihar and Basant Raj Thakur and local senior leaders Chuni Lal Shan, Lekh Raj, Harbans Lal, Deepu Sharma, Om Prakash Bhagat and others.
Munish Sharma brought to the notice of the Director total disregard of the set norms for the selection of ReT teachers by the selecting staff of Zonal Office Drabshalla. The local people have with one voice been impressing upon the concerned officers to adhere to the merit in the selection. However, it seems the concerned staff have their own favourites whom they wish to select for extraneous consideration.
The delegation demanded that the office of the Directorate should ensure that the selection is strictly accordance with the merit and deserving candidates only be selected. The Director School Education assured the delegation that he will depute a team of officers from his office to check the selection process and ensure selection of deserving candidates only.  The delegates thanked the director for his positive approach and intendment.
