JAMMU, Sept 25: Two persons were killed and one another received injuries in accidents in Doda and Kishtwar districts today.

As per police sources, a Mahindra load carrier bearing registration number JK19A-0699 on way from Kishtwar to Jammu skidded off the road and plunged into deep gorge near Jathi area of Assar, resulting into on the spot death of the driver and injuries to his associate.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and retrieved the injured from the gorge with the help of locals and volunteers of Al-Khair Organization.
The profusely bleeding injured identified as Ajay Singh, son of Om Ganesh of Kahara Gandoh District Doda was rushed to hospital and his condition was stated to be stable when last reports came in.
The body of the deceased identified as Sanjay Singh, son of Jeevan Singh of Kainthi District Ramban was also recovered from the gorge and handed over to family members after completing medical and legal formalities.
Meanwhile, a Scorpio car also rolled down into gorge in Padhyarna area of District Kishtwar, resulting into on the spot death of the driver.
The deceased was identified as Irshad Ahmed Lone, a resident of Padhyarna District Kishtwar.
After completing medical and legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
Cases under relevant sections have been registered at concerned police stations and investigation started.
