JAMMU, Sept 29: School of Civil Engineering (SoCE), Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), organised a cultural event ‘Adhara’ to highlight the importance of Civil Engineering in day-to-day life and to give a platform to the students to showcase their talent.
The event was inaugurated by Head of the Department, Dr. V.K Dogra who motivated the students through his words.
The event was also attended by the faculty members and it included talks on the background and prospects of Civil Engineering and cultural performances in the Matrika Auditorium of SMVDU.
Final year students, Akshat Mahajan, Ashish Goswami, Jaiveer Singh Manhas, Paras Kundal and Satyam Nanda coordinated the event under the guidance of Srijan, Assistant Professor SoCE.
