KK Gandhi receives title of Master Artist

JAMMU, Sept 30: Chitkara University, one of the biggest universities in Punjab in collaboration with IIC New Delhi organized three days National Painting Workshop on “Exploration of New Trends and Techniques” of Visual Arts at D’Art Gallery, Picasso Block, Chandigarh.
KK Gandhi, internationally renowned artist was invited as chief guest and the University conferred upon him the title of Master Artist, a rare honour given to an individual who had excelled in his field of creativity.
At the event, Archana Mantri, Vice Chancellor of the University was personally present there and highly appreciated the techniques and skills of KK Gandhi in producing the most enchanting live painting before the spectators, teachers, scholars, trainees and the students of the fine art department besides Prof. Dr. Ranjan Malik along with deans and associate professors of all the departments. They were also among the admirer of Gandhi’s work.
During the event, the radio talk was also organized on the dedicated channel of the university in which KK Gandhi was invited by Dr Ranjan Malki, Dean of Design School and Dr Arjun K Singh, Associate Prof–both as anchors and interviewers.
On the concluding day, a large conclave was organized by the university authorities in which KK Gandhi was honoured by the Vice Chancellor with the prestigious trophy, saropa,
certificate of appreciation and cash award.
