REASI, Oct 5: Government Degree College, Dharmari (District Reasi) held the election of the students for the post of new president for the session 2013-14 under the supervision of the staff and the Principal of the college, today.
In the election Ranjeet Singh of BA Part 3rd was declared as president and Gulam Mustafa also of BA Part-3 as vice-president, Mushtaq Ahmed of BA Part 1st was declared as class representative of the BA Part 1st and Kushal Singh and Nawaz Ahmed as CRs for the BA Part 2nd & 3rd respectively.
Among the girls’ students, Ruksana Akhtar, Arshad Bano and Sonika Thakur were elected as girl’s representatives of BA Part-1, Part-2 and BA Part-3.
The Principal of the college Dr. P.N.Koul congratulated the newly elected body of student representatives and assured them every kind of help for the smooth functioning of the college.
Dr Chander Mohan was the Chief Election Commissioner for the successful management of the event.
