JAMMU, June 13: Bar Association Jammu (BAJ) condemned the reported attack on Advocate Rahul Sambyal, member, Bar Association Samba, by miscreants, when the advocate was on his way to attend a case in the District Court Samba.
In this regard, a meeting of the BAJ was held under the chairmanship of its president, BS Slathia, who while speaking, strongly condemned the unfortunate incident and said that such incidents are a direct attack on the judicial institutions.
He urged the administration to probe the matter thoroughly and investigate the incident, so that the culprits are prosecuted and punished for such outrageous act on the justice delivery system.
Members urged IGP to take stern action against the miscreants, so that such incidents don’t recur.
