Mahila Wing of JKTUC holds meet

JAMMU, Oct 6: A meeting of J&K Trade Union Congress (JKTUC) Mahila Wing was held here today under the chairmanship of its president, Lalita Sabharwal, who demanded the Government to fulfill the State employees’ demands.
Lalita demanded that demands of the State employees like enhancement of retirement age, regularization of daily and need-based workers engaged after 1994, removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre, etc be fulfilled as soon as possible. Besides she also demanded budgetary support to sick public sector corporations for payment of wages to workers.
Lalita asked the workers to maintain unity for strengthening the organization in all the three regions of the State. She asked the workers to aware every individual of the society of various welfare schemes introduced by the Congress party.
