JAMMU, June 13: Only 174 candidates turned up for the newly introduced B Com (Honours) combination, during the ongoing Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET), conducted by University across the State.
As per the handout issued by Vinay Thusoo, Public Relations Officer, University of Jammu, 1519 candidates appeared in the four subjects (Economics, LLB 3 years, PGDCA and B Com Honours) during the ongoing Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET) at nine centers including Jammu, Kathua, Poonch, Rajouri, Srinagar, Udhampur, Reasi, Bhaderwah and Leh.
A total of 935 candidates have applied for Economics combination, out of which 829 candidates appeared in the test while 106 candidates were absent.
In LLB (3 Years) combination, 539 candidates had applied and 422 candidates appeared and rest were absent where as in PGDCA combination, out of 123 candidates who had applied 94 candidates appeared in the test and 29 were absent.
In B Com (Honours) combination, 174 candidates appeared in the test out of a total of 220 candidates who had applied for the same while 46 were absent.
