JAMMU, Oct 6: To augment training of students for outstanding placement outcomes, campaign ‘Protsahan’ commenced at Central University of Jammu.
In the first phase, the Training and Placement cell has initiated training session of students wherein requirements of industry were gauged for better training of students and industry. Swift Laboratories Ltd organised an interaction cum training session Protsahan-1 to bridge the gap between the placement and training.
The session began with the welcome note by Training & Placement Officer Viraj Magotra who shared the importance of training for students which was followed by the address of Ramesh Bhardwaj, HR-Head who emphasized the value addition of such sessions which make the student industry-ready.
Manoj Sharma, QA-Head, in an interaction with students, shared that these interactions will henceforth be a regular feature wherein students of the Central University of Jammu, one of the premier institutions will be exposed to needs of industry.
Manpreet Singh, Corporate HR, who made the pool of scholars and students so as to create competencies required to get the job in the corporate world motivated the pool to start the corporate journey immediately after the studies to reap the rich dividends of joining the corporate world.
Prof Devanand Padha, Dean School of Basic and Applied Sciences, Prof Mustaq Ahmed, Dean, School of Humanities and Social Sciences and Dr Princy Gupta. Assistant professor, Dept of Chemistry also gave their inputs for success of the campaign.
