JAMMU, Oct 6: The Nature Club in collaboration with NSS Unit of Government College of Education Jammu (GCOE) conducted e-rickshaw rally.
The rally was sponsored by 92.7 BIG FM and Om Sai Enterprise. The rally was flagged off by Prof Aekta Gupta, Principal from the college premises. On the occasion, Principal highlighted the importance of using e-vehicles and reusable plastic to keep the environment green and safe for all.
Around 40 volunteers of the college participated in the rally, which ended at Government Medical College, Jammu. NSS Programme Officer Dr Shubhra Jamwal motivated the students to use e-vehicles as it is cost and eco-friendly.
Dr Shalini Sharma encouraged the students to promote reuse of plastic. Prof Sarita Dogra, Prof Anju Bala, Prof Shapia, Dr Anuradha Seth, Dr Jyoti Parihar, Prof Deep Bangotra , Prof Seema Kumari and Prof Neeraj Verma were also present.
