REASI, Oct 8: Under mysterious circumstances, a youth was found hanging from a tree near his house at Laiter in Pouni.
The deceased was identified as Anil Kumar, age 21 years, son of Ashok Sharma, resident of Laiter, Maghai, Bhambla, tehsil Pouni. Some passersby saw the dead body hanging from tree and informed the police.
Police from Bhambla Police Post shifted the dead body to PHC Pouni for postmortem. After all the legal formalities, the body was handed over to his legal heirs.
Police has initiated an inquest proceeding in this regard under Section 174 of CrPC and started further investigation.
